CAKES!

i love making cakes and decorating them heres a few recent ones i have made :) i cant make cookies every recipe i use taste like crackers :P i can only make those frozen cookies and they come out delicious!! i eat like the whole packet no joke! and i happen to be a chocoholic! lol my mom likes just the bread aka the cookie parts with out chocolate :P

Lost

Why do i get so lost all the time. I was lost for the longest time ever today :P for some reason i never can find where i am going and where i need to go. Places near my house and other places like friends homes that i have gone to before. I need to start paying attention more but for some reason everything looks the same. Maybe I'm too busy singing in my car to even think about where to go or i take the wrong turn and end up lost big time. Honestly i leave from parties or friends houses and people are telling me directions. maybe its just the way i am. people have called me Grace since like freshmen high school years like the song amazing grace. you might be thing since i'm so amazing but no like was lost part. my friend says i need GPS just so i can be like I'm lost come find me. The other day i was lost getting from school home... I have driven a ton of times to school and back but i don't know i seem to daze off and day dream while i drive and some how i still haven't crashed! Anywho i was totally lost and ended up in front of my friends house that I have never been to before :P she was outside cruising on her bike.

Being totally Prepared

Heres a couple things you might want to bring with you to class.

Pencils and Pens- for writting notes, jotting things down, taking test

Eracers- for any mistake  

a Pencil case- things can be a mess in your bag and having this makes it easy to take notes or jot down things

Paper Clips- to keep your work or work you have to turn in together

Notebook- for writing notes down

Highlighter- for highlighting important things in the hand outs, books, notes, etc. I love using highlighters and other colors in order to write in my planner to separate things by classes and marking off the things i have already completed. it will help so much with the assignments due. 

Planner- for writing all the assignments that are due as well as any event and schedules.

Binder or some sort of organizer- to keep everything from getting lost

Paper- to write on  

Books- this is optional for you might not need it in some classes. 

Laptop- working on any essay or assignment you may have if you have breaks in between classes. checking my blog site, surfing the web, writing notes in class, or just following along with the teachers. even though its not recommended you do but most of us do it be on Facebook in class, Skyping in class, looking at random sites especially when the teachers lecture is really boring. 

Books

You will need a ton of books for college and they aren't cheap. Even your schools bookstore might be convenient, there are various places to buy books that will save you money so you can spend it somewhere else. First off don't buy books until you have the syllabus because many teachers change the books they may request for class. there is always the option of renting books will be more effective but you have to return at the end of the semester. Buying books used will always save you a ton of money.

Grandma's BDAY!! woooooo 88

Its not my grandmas bday party but its my boyfriends grandmas bday party. lol she introduced my parents as my boyfriends godparents LOL! i think she had too many wine spritzers and shots :P HAHAH  also for those of you who wanted to know this is supposedly the easiest way to bring down other balloons :P it looks empty but it was full except everyone was outside in the cold! isn't my mom a cutie doing a plie.

Scented Nail Polish

What will they come up with next! this nail polish smells so good as well as available in various colors and is available at most department stores and even places like Anthropology and Forever 21. This Revlon scented nail polish that i bought smells so good. It smells a bit like skittles! Hahah you get an interesting reaction when your like look smell my nails :P

Back to School

So its that time of year again back to school. perhaps your worried about going to college or wondering how can i get into the classes, maybe your dreading the whole experience well here's some tips 

Worried about getting lost: buy a planner or something with the school map on it, come early or a day before and find out where your classes are at, ask around seriously everyone gets lost on the first day and BTW everyone's super nice and willing to help out.

All the classes you want are full: turns out college is huge and classes get filled up way quick to avoid this make a wish list before hand to make sure you can pick your classes fast on your registration date. The classes you want are already filled there are a couple things to do to ensure you get your class.

• wait and keep checking if any spots open up
• email the teacher and see if they are willing to give you a spot in there class ( this ones important sometimes teachers only let those who emailed crash a course)
• if all else fails Crash the course- crashing means showing up on the 1st days of class and asking the teacher for an add code. most of the time you will get in if there is room

Worried that its too hard: Don't worry i think your pretty well prepared, they've been preparing us for this moment since elementary school.
